It's definately an interesting concept, Internet privacy. It's almost an oxymoron. My main thought is that it should just be more obvious, what is private and what is public and you should be able to have easy control of it. I want to know exactly what is available to everyone and then specify if I want friends (real friends) to see other stuff. It's kinda like walking down a high street with all you personal details on a tshirt. There are some people who I'll tell more private stuff to and others I won't. All down to trust. I trust Google more with my bank details than facebook, but i'll happily give full name email and other random things to facebook as I'm not bothered that much. I'm reluctant to give birthdate and my main password to facebook, I just don't trust it enough.

Anyway Internet privacy, it's the punchline to a crappy joke.

I agree, and this occurred to me at the time. It seems that people are far to willing to jump on Google's back for even the slightest perceived threat of invasion of their privacy. Whilst I can understand the original author's stated fears in this respect, I feel her anger is likely misplaced.

I agree on the music. It certainly kept the atmosphere at the right level. Not tried doing parkour in real life so I can't really compare it on that level.

I think the PC is actually a pretty good platform. I've got a 360 sat right next to it which doesn't get half the play time, though that may be merely through habit. Keep meaning to play some more Forza 3 in fact.

There are a few things I like about this game, the music, the unreal contrast and the intense colours. But yeah, other than that it's mostly a nightmare to play. Everythings too sensitive, half a mill to the left of your focal point and you may as well have leapt off a building with your hands tied round you back and tried to grab the ledge with your teeth. That may have been more amusing. it's as though she has a fear of grabbing things that aren't diectly infront of her. I bought this misty because I had been doing pakour and wondered what it would be like to see it in 1st person. Well, more to see if you can capture the essenes of the "sport" in a computer game. You can't.

Incidentally the PC isn't a real platform, it's what happens when you can't decide what console to buy. Though the answer should always be 360.

It did seem like all the rumoursmiths came up with better devices than Apple managed to. I was looking forward to the split keyboard that you can actually type on without having to sit down and put the thing in your lap!

Quite underwhelming indeed.

Yeah, that one is a bit of an omission. The Events section of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009 is good as a reference (as are most of the year pages on Wikipedia) as I've seen. A bit more comprehensive than I was going for, but that's what's to be expected from such sources.

I'm happy to set something up on mark.sinjakli.co.uk if you ever want that. Just give me a shout. :P

Good summary - Jacko's death was also massive for me - in spite of the fact he was a wierdo (and I think only his most blinkered fans could deny that) it marked the passing of the defining talent of a generation.

Good to have you representing the family on sinjakli.co.uk - I see no need at this stage for a potentially devisive and expensive law suit to nick it off you!
